Recommendations:
AFI – Love Like Winter: You can say what you want about AFI, too emo to be goth, and too emo to be emo, and if that hasn’t put you off you’ll find an incredible band here. With a knack of writing insanely passionate and catchy tunes AFI have dug out a brilliant niche. Although The Leaving Song PT II could’ve easily taken this spot, Love Like Winter may be the better song for those new to the band.
Kasbain – Club Foot: Music games work best when you’ve got a bunch of people, yeah staying up till four in the morning trying to climb that leader board may have its appeal but when you’ve got a bunch of people all rocking along to a tune there’s little better. And Club Foot will sure to bring in even the most shyest of gamers, with its well known hook and instantly recogniseable beat, it’s one for the parties… and it’s just a pretty good tune really.
Lenny Kravitz – Fly Away: Music games seemed to be litered with hidden gems, songs that aren’t as well known, or just unknown. It’s a shame that it’s a rareity that something like Lenny Kravitz’s Fly Away doesn’t come round that oftern, but at least it’s here now. And for a song that needs no introduction I’ve already said too much.
